There are days when the world feels dark, covered by shadow and uncertainty. Yet even then, light light finds a way through.
This painting speaks of hope that isn't there all at once but in scattered moments. The blurred gold accents invite you to trust that beauty can still exist beyond what is clearly seen.
As an artist living with significant vision loss, I paint from feeling rather than perfect sight. The ocean becomes a place of surrender, the horizon a promise that no matter how dark the sky becomes, there is always something waiting beyond it.
