Every tide carries something away and brings something back. This painting captures the exchange between the water and the sand. A place where endings become beginnings.

For me the shoreline is a reminder that life is always moving. Even after darkness there is light. The water borrows the shore for a moment before gently giving it back. Nothing is permanent, yet nothing is truly lost.
